PAQUIME BENCH

The inspiration comes from an archaeological zone called paquime, located northwest of the city of Chihuahua, Mexico. Mainly I was inspired by the forms that make up this city, the mud walls that are forms that have a very primitive appearance and play between the geometric and the organic. The inlays are also representations of the treasures that the same inhabitants of the place in ancient times sought to find gold or other types of valuables. I really like the piece because it has this historical touch, and the mix of materials is very well done.
